Description

Double edged blade widening at tip to form oblique triangular tip. Etched to resemble wootz. Riveted reinforcing plate extending from hilt for 3/4 of length of back of blade & 1/3 cutting, overlaid in floral design gold koft-gari. Hilt has circular "V" shaped crossguard forming knuckle guard & shallow disk pommel with slighly curving spike terminating in circular knob. All sections of hilt edged in floral bands of gold koft-gari. Grip is undecorated circular section iron.
